Hunting
Aim Adventures offers Big Game hunts of all types. From "Pack In" horseback hunts, to lodge based private land hunts we have both guided, semi guided and self guided hunts. Many areas have Unlimited Licenses that can be purchased over the counter along with Limited "draw only" areas. Colorado has a Ranching for Wildlife program where a private rancher is allowed tags that can be sold and also Land Owner Vouchers can be obtained guaranteeing a license can be purchased. Colorado is on a "preference point' system. Applications for the 2011 season are due in early April.
Elk hunting is the most popular due to the large population of animals. We have hunts in all areas of the state where Elk thrive. We offer Archery, Muzzleloader and Rifle hunts with hunts starting as low as $1500 (unguided) plus licenses. Elk hunts can be combined with Deer with Deer Licenses obtained through the draw.
Colorado offers great Deer hunting opportunities. Deer licenses are obtained on a Draw Only" basis, through the Ranching for Wildlife program or by Landowner vouchers.
The Eastern Plains area is noted for Trophy Mule Deer as well as Whitetail Deer. Trophy Deer hunts will range from $4000 and up. Combine a Deer hunt with an Elk hunt for a quality hunt.
Antelope hunting in Colorado normally consists for a 2 or 3 day hunt. Hunts will cost from $1500 and up and licenses can be obtained on a limited and unlimited basis.
Moose populations in Colorado continue to increase. They are located a number of areas and licenses are obtained on a "Draw Only" basis. Guided hunts are in the $4000.00 range and up and semi guided hunts will start around $2000.00.

Wingshooting
Most of the Pheasant, Quail and Chukar hunts are conducted hunting preserves. Many will have first class lodges to accommodate clients whether individual or groups.
Turkey Hunting in Colorado has become popular due to the growing populations and popularity in Turkey hunting. Merriam birds are located and in the mountain regions and Rio Grand birds are located in the Plains area. The deadline to apply is February, 10, 2011. The spring season runs opens April 9, 2011 and closes May 22, 2011.
Expect to pay for a 2 -3 day hunt about $1400.00 including food and lodging.
Colorado offers very good waterfowl hunting including first class Canada Goose hunts. Migratory routes include the Central Flyway and Pacific Flyway which is west of the Continental divide. The state also has an early Teal season and an early Canada Goose season in the Pacific Flyway. A Light Goose conservation season offers unlimited daily bag and possession limits and runs from February 14 to April 30.
